This silk screen is designed for use with polymer clay.
Silk screens are very delicate and need to be handled with care and properly cleaned to ensure long term use.
How to use your polymer clay silk screen:
- Burnish your silk screen to your clay, with the logo facing upwards. Making sure you don’t have any air trapped underneath.
- Put a line of acrylic paint along the top of your silk screen and use a squeegee or plastic card to drag your paint evenly down the silk screen.
- Gently remove your silk screen while paint is wet.
- Put your silk screen in cold water and gently remove paint. Use a paper towel to gently pat any excess water and leave to dry before storing away. Do not let paint dry on silk screen.
Sizes are approximate and will vary slightly from stencil to stencil
Pattern Size: 7cm x 9 cm (2.75 x 3.54 inches)
Silk Screen Size: 8.5cm x 10.5 cm (3.34 x 4.13 inches)
TIP: A good quality, high pigmented acrylic paint works best. Paint should not be too thick but not very watery either. I highly recommend using Jacquard Neopaque or Lumiere paints which you can find in our shop.
NOTE: Do not use oil-based paints and keep out of direct sunlight.
